Episode 1 - Through Purple Colored Eyes

Greetings, fellow Vault Dwellers! In this week's pulse-pounding episode of "Tales from Tomorrow: Under the Mothman’s Embrace," our brave survivors found themselves deep within the treacherous depths of the Wendigo's Cave - a twisted mockery of what pre-war tourists once called the Magic Grotto.

After leaving the radio tower, the team went on a hunt for Hope’s missing guardsman, Hells Bells. In the process, they found a dreaded wendigo!

After leaving the radio tower, the team went on a hunt for Hope’s missing guardsman, Hells Bells. In the process, they found a dreaded wendigo!

The cave, now a haunting testament to atomic devastation, bears the toxic scars of nuclear waste and hazardous materials. Our team tracked their missing companion through dangerously irradiated chambers, where even the most hardy RadAway wouldn't keep you safe for long.

In a desperate gambit, Raven armed a fragmentation mine and attempted to throw it strategically, hoping to cause a controlled cave-in that would contain the radioactive barrels. The throw went awry, with the mine bouncing off the wall and detonating in an unintended location. The resulting explosion did trigger a cave-in, but not as planned - instead of containing the radiation, it collapsed the hallway, giving the Wendigo the perfect opportunity to escape with its still-unidentified victim.

Through the settling dust, Raven caught sight of something extraordinary - the legendary purple eyes of the Mothman, beckoning her toward a collapsed section of wall that crumbled at her approach. Like a true scout, she squeezed through the jagged opening, following this mysterious guide.

What she discovered next would make even the most jaded Wastelander gasp - a pristine grotto untouched by radiation, teeming with pre-war life! But there was no time to admire the view - the hunt for the Wendigo continued.

Following a glowing moth through the darkness, Raven soon reunited with Sam, who had carved his own path through the cave system with Jim's expertise. Their reunion was cut short by their target - the dreaded Wendigo itself! Jim and trusty Alfred (our favorite Mr. Handy) rushed to join the fray, with Alfred braving the radiation while Jim navigated the maze-like tunnels.

And now, dear listeners, we leave our heroes in quite the predicament! Sam managed to stabilize Hells Bells’ wounds, saving her from becoming the Wendigo's dinner, but their weapons seem about as effective as throwing Fancy Lad Snack Cakes at a Super Mutant. How will our wastelanders defeat this pre-war terror, this embodiment of atomic age greed?
