Campaign Summary: Under the Mothman's Embrace

Our adventurers' journey began in the treacherous Wendigo's Cave, where they pursued a missing companion named Hell's Bells through radiation-filled chambers. After a desperate battle with a Wendigo that left Jim severely injured and Raven buried under rubble, they managed to rescue Hell's Bells and discovered a pristine grotto guided by the mysterious purple eyes of the Mothman.

The team then returned to the settlement of Hope, where they began building infrastructure including a trade caravan outpost with a windmill. During their exploration, Raven and Sam encountered members of a strange cult devoted to "The Orb" near the Ohio Bridge, presenting potential allies or threats to their growing settlement.

Their journey continued as they transported valuable resources to Hope using their APC and Brahmin caravan. The settlement grew stronger with various improvements, including Jim's technical work on the windmill project. The team also acquired powerful weapons, including a Flamer and a Legendary Kneecapper Hunting Rifle from Rusty's collection.

Recent events have focused on investigating the mysterious Mothman cult. During a reconnaissance mission, the team captured two cultists, and Raven experienced a mystical communion with Observer Errol, who revealed his important role in future events. However, the interrogation of the cultists led to a dramatic incident where one cultist's ritual suicide caused supernatural vines to breach the jail's foundation, requiring quick action to contain the threat.

The team continues to face various challenges while building up the settlement of Hope and uncovering the mysteries surrounding the Mothman cult and their role in Appalachia's future.
